The Broomfield Auditorium and Gallery

The Broomfield Auditorium and Gallery is a 288-seat auditorium and theatre open to academic, dramatic, dance, music, and corporate events.

The theatre, which is 6,800 square feet in size, including seating, has a Sauter concert piano, six ADA-accessible seats, a custom-designed sound system. and a theatrical lighting system in an orchestra area for performers to use. There are 54 balcony seats available, providing a stunning seating view, with free parking for all event attendees.

The Broomfield Art Guild has run an art gallery in the theatre’s lobby since 2002, showcasing a range of exceptional creative exhibits on display when the auditorium hosts other special activities.

The 6,800-square-foot Auditorium, adjacent to the Broomfield Library, offers free parking and access to doors and seats. It is at 3 Community Park Road in Broomfield, Colorado area with a dramatic lighting system, video system, and unique sound system for live streaming and recording. Additionally, there is a Sauter Concert Piano and a live stream TV system.

There is an acoustically built stage, house, and seats inside the theatre. Other features include a  state-of-the-art lighting and sound system and a ticket office and greeting area with a gallery. The stage is fully accessible. The building also houses an elevator that leads to the adjacent library meeting room and balcony.

Rehearsals, performances, events, meetings, and dancing studio are some of the Broomfield Auditorium and Gallery activities. They are three categories, dance, music, and theatre.

The Broomfield Auditorium hosts a range of artists and acts throughout the year. It also offers theatrical productions and film screenings, and special holiday concerts and fundraisers supported by Creative Broomfield, the city’s cultural affairs division.

The City of Broomfield’s Arts & Cultural Affairs section oversees facilities, programs, museums, and the distribution of public monies for art and culture in Broomfield. It manages scheduling and maintenance of the Broomfield Auditorium and Gallery and creates and markets performing and visual arts programs. The group also oversees the Broomfield Depot Museum and its collection.

There is staff support from Creative Broomfield to the Broomfield Veterans Memorial Museum Board, the Broomfield Depot Museum Friends, the Broomfield Cultural Council, the Public Art Committee, and the Broomfield/Ueda Sister City Committee. It also makes the Creative Broomfield Master Plan easier to implement.

As a result, the division engages with other county and local departments and community organizations to promote cultural diversity, arts education, lifelong access, event planning, and volunteer opportunities.
